A study has found that we tend to associate more closely with people who are very much like us -- in fact, our friends and partners are as similar to us as our siblings are.
 Have you ever had a friend or romantic partner with whom you were so close, it felt like you could be siblings? According to a recent study, there may be a genetic component to the friendship and partnership choices we make. Researchers gave out 130-question questionnaires to identical twins, fraternal twins, and their partners or best friends, and found that the similarities between the twins and between the twins and their respective friends or partners were almost equal. In other words, most of the participants had as much in common with their friend or partner as they did with their twin sibling. So much for opposites attract! Read the article online here.
