A new survey reports that 2/3 of the female participants are very happy with their sex lives with their long-term partners, whereas only half of male participants feel the same way. Women were also more likely feel emotionally satisfied with their sex lives, and were more likely to be content with the frequency of sex in their relationship. This is encouraging news for women; however, the survey's male participants were, overall, not happy with the frequency of sex in their relationships, and reported less sexual satisfaction overall.
Couples who communicated about sex more and were more willing to try new things in the bedroom had, overall, greater sexual satisfaction. We suggest keeping an open attitude, remembering to laugh, and trying to actively communicate with your partner about your sex life – it makes for a happier time in the bedroom!
