Non-hormonal male contraceptive moves into testing phases
A few weeks ago, we posted a link to an article about a new form of hormonal birth control for men that was undergoing further testing. Now, there's another male contraceptive in the testing phase - but this one is non-hormonal. It's based on tiny plugs that block the vas deferens and don't allow sperm to pass through. Currently, scientists studying the new method are unsure whether it's fully reversible in humans - but it's great to know there's more than one very effective male contraceptive on the horizon!
