Raising Sexually Healthy Children

Let's face it, sooner or later, this subject is going to come up - if you don't bring it up - they will (probably at the grocery store)! Talking with children about sex and sexuality may come naturally or may be uncomfortable at first. You may not be sure of the best way to get going. Some of us may put it off until it feels like we're left with the "the big talk" or an elephant in the room. This class will help build a foundation that normalizes talking with kids about their bodies, development and sexuality, creating an ongoing conversation that occurs naturally. It's best to start talking with children in early childhood--but it's never too late!  Babes in arms welcome! Ellen Barnard, co-founder of A Woman's Touch, will teach this class.
