Throat Cancer and HPV Linked

According to new research, oral HPV infection is a strong risk factor for throat cancer, an even greater risk than tobacco or alcohol use. Having multiple oral sex partners increases the risk. However, as one of the researchers states, throat cancer is not very common, and many people with oral HPV never develop this cancer. No matter what, it’s something to be aware of when making decisions about using safer sex supplies!
