Starring Savanna Samson as Justine Jones and Jenna Jameson as Miss Devlin, this is the story of a rather frumpy editor at a book publishing company, who commits suicide and must partake of all the "sins of the flesh" before moving on to the afterlife.
We like that the sex scenes in this film are long but not boring, with lots of variety (two women, women with men, one man with lots of men, etc). It does include some rather heavy S/M activity (including one play-piercing scene), so be prepared. It's a mainstream movie, so also expect to see lots of external ejaculations and very acrobatic positions. The budget for this film was a whopping $250,000, which is huge for the adult industry -- so expect gorgeous clothes and high-quality filmmaking with surprisingly good acting. The story will keep you interested, too -- you'll never guess the ending, even if you've seen the original ...
This special three-disc set includes one disc with the feature-length movie, one disc of Special Features (including outtakes, deleted scenes and audio commentary from the film's stars) and one disc that contains the full 1980 version of the film.
Each film is 90 minutes long; both are directed by Paul Thomas. New version produced in 2004, and features Brooke Alexander, Roxanne Hall, Anthony Hardwood, Jenna Jameson, Jessica Jaymes, Nick Manning, Alec Metro, Mario Rossi, Rachel Rotten, Rob Rotten, Savanna Samson, Angelica Sinn, Kris Slater, Dick Smothers Jr., Jeremy Steele and Vicki Vette.
This DVD does not have region-specific coding, and is playable all over the world.

"Nerdy Ms. Jones awakens in a confused, seemingly drugged-out state to a creepy world she is familiar with, but doesn't know. Suddenly, everywhere she turns there are people having sex, and she wants to join in - but she's too shy and flees the scene.
"She spends most of the film feeling sorry for herself because no one remembered her birthday and the people at her job treat her poorly. She finally finds out what the deal is during the surprising twist at the end.
"The acting is good by porn standards. The costumes are great, and the sets are beautiful. Some of the body contortions are amazing and the supporting cast is fun.
The special treat was getting to see the original Miss Jones, Georgina Spelvin, all grown up and fully clothed.
"Overall, the movie was entertaining. It makes you laugh. It makes you think. It makes you want to have steamy sex by the pool.
"I would recommend this film to someone who likes a heavy storyline. This movie is generally mainstream in style, with some tattoos and piercings. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. The guys are all quite chiseled, and all but two of the primary women appear to have fake breasts. The main character has a natural-looking body.
It includes lots of scenes of female penetration with a penis and with toys. There are some scenes that include group sex, piercings, cunnilingus and fellatio

"Miss Jones leads a sinless life, kills herself, then finds out she can't go heaven, but isn't not quite bad enough for hell. The solution: have lots of sex, apparently!
"This film is made in a very "artsy" style, with lots of thought-provoking elements and somewhat of a dark side along with the mainstream sex scenes.
"The characters may take some getting used to, as they aren't presented as all that likeable. The production values were pretty high, though, and the star has a very natural-looking body. I don't recall seeing any safer sex practice (but this was the '80s, afterall). I have to give the director and writer credit for an original idea and production.
"I would recommend this film to people who like classic porn. It's basically mainstream in its focus, and everyone (especially the female lead) appears to enjoy the sex and have real orgasms. Most of the bodies look natural. There is one scene with double penetration."
