Description:
DVD only.Wow! One of the hottest lesbian movies one of our reviewers has seen in awhile. Journey into the lives of several queer couples who get a highly sought-after key to the crash pad, an apartment reserved specifically for sexual encounters. The only catch is that you can only use your key three times -- after that, you have to pass it on to someone else. Oh, and if there's someone already using the crash pad when you get there, you can either leave or join in. There are only a handful of scenes in this movie, but the passion is definitely worth seeing. Lots of strap-on play, one threesome, mutual masturbation, oral sex, and much more. Female orgasms (and lots of gushing female ejaculations) abound, and we appreciate the use of realistic bodies, stretch marks, tattoos and all. 60 min. Produced in 2005. Directed by Shine Louise Houston.
Another of our reviewers had this to say:
"On several occassions, I've gotten into conversations with friends about the difference between real lesbian porn and "girl-girl" porn. A couple of people have asked, "is it more romantic or something?" which usually makes me chuckle. This movie, for example, is all about the sex, and it's intense sex. There's a lot of strap-on sex, including a double penetration scene. There's female ejaculation, analingus, and a bit of rough sex. There are lots of genital close-ups. Everyone has at least one tattoo or non-earlobe piercing. There's a variety of bodies shown including several extra-lusty women. The plot is that there's a house called "The Crash Pad" where people can go have sex if they have a key. There are some rules, like you can only use your key X times before passing it on to someone else. It's an interesting idea but I don't feel that they explored it to its fullest potential. For example, they show a woman giving the key to one of her friends, explaining that she had the chance "to do that thing" at the Crash Pad. But we don't see either of those 2 women at the Crash Pad, and we don't get to find out what the first woman did there! More or less, though, the plot exists to string together several disparate sex scenes, and it does that well. This movie is a good choice if you want something a little edgy with a light plot and lots of sex."
One reviewer compared The Crash Pad with One Night Stand (Pour Une Nuit):
"I think the overall quality of One Night Stand is higher than the Crash Pad--there is more attention paid to the aesthetic qualities, for one thing. The whole film is very cohesive: the camera work, lighting, sound, etc. work hand-in-hand with the sex itself to make a truly arousing and beautiful movie. The chemistry between partners is high, which makes it feel very real.
One thing that Crash Pad has going for it, though, is that it doesn't have the artsy camera work and the loud music, things that work well in One Night Stand but are not always what you want. In Crash Pad, you get a straight, long camera shot of the women's entire bodies, interspersed with some long genital close-ups. The camera work in One Night Stand is frenetic at times, and while you get an overall *feel* for what's going on, you don't get to look at any one body part or position for a very long time. In Crash Pad, you can kinda feast your eyes on the scene before you for a while. Plus Crash Pad just has sex noises instead of mood music. I also think the actors in Crash Pad are more aware of the camera and play to it, whereas the actors in One Night Stand seem like they could care less that the camera is there (both of which have different benefits)."
