"This was a landmark film; when it came out, the production values represented a quantum leap for the industry. It took the cream of the crop four years to catch up, and even today this film still holds up with the best. The sets, the props, the mix of explicit and non-explicit characters, and the tiny details (like the laundry detergent) all immerse the viewer into a realistic alternate reality in the same way any big-budget film does. By design, this simply does not 'feel' like an adult film; it is more like a regular film with some very hot explicit scenes blended with the non-explicit. Because there is so much material the film seems longer than it actually is. The original theme song is sung by the star.
"One notable feature of this film is the variety of the erotic scenes. For example, the pool table scene features rough sex which almost looks realistic enough to cause the viewer to wince a bit.
