She did it with something like this Velvet Zip Corset: more form-shaping than a bustier, but less form shaping than a higher-end corset. (Bustiers are made of lighter fabric, and although they may have stays (little tent poles sewn in) to help shape the garmet, their fabric will rip due to the tension of pulling the lacing tightly.)
This Velvet Zip Corset is a sleek solution to wearing something that brings in the body just a tad and has the strength to hold you in. With shorter stays, it's way more comfortable than a traditional corset, though, and as easily worn as lingerie or snazzy outer wear.
Your corset will come properly laced by us. (We'll send instructions just in case something gets accidentally untied.) The first time you fit in, you'll need to remember to grab a friend to help snug the back lacing for a personal fit. Looser is easier, so if you don't lace it too tightly, you'll be able to slip out the front zip access, and put it back on with the zip. If you want a tad more tightness, you'll need some help at every wearing.
