Do pheromones really work? The science is clear: humans do secrete these hormone-related scents, and we have the organs (called vomeronasal) to detect these very subtle smells. The question is, if you smell like something that is supposed to attract another person, is it the pheromone or the sparkle in your eye which is making you attractive? We're not really sure, but we thought we'd offer you the opportunity to try real human pheromones (not the usual fake ones that have animal urine or other non-human ingredients) to decide for yourself. These work best if you choose the scent that will make you smell like something your potential mate would find attractive (so don't choose #5 to attract a woman unless she finds herself attracted to fertile females). Spray them on clothing, not skin, for the best effect. Your choices are:
- #5, which makes you smell like a frisky, fertile female, and seems to relieve PMS and menopausal grumpiness in some women. It contains Androstenol, the youthful and exuberant pheromone together with a blend of slightly fruity odors called Copulins - these subconsciously indicate a fertile stage and are geared toward attracting men.
- #6, which produces an all-around happiness and zip for both men and women. Contains Androstenol, the "youthful, exuberant and fertile" pheromone. It is used by both men and women and is strongly recommended as a first purchase because it has definite positive social benefits. Older people seem to enjoy its effects and subtle differences it inspires in other people's behavior toward them. One of our customers has even gone as far as to state that #6 "appears to inspire a natural sexual warming effect that had been lost with the years."
Parties can be given an extra oomph with it; sprayed on to furniture or carpet (test a small area first) in advance of the event, it will instill onto its surroundings a subconscious message that this is a haunt of youthful and exuberant people.
- #7, which is made from Androstenone and is considered to be the pheromone that gives you the macho, dominant male aura. Not recommended for use by many men in the same room, as fights have been known to break out (really!).
Note: You may not smell anything but alcohol when you take a sniff of your pheromone, but put it on your clothing (just a little goes a long way) and see what kind of attention you get. We have customers who come back repeatedly for #6, reporting that it gets them a lot more attention and helps boost their confidence as a result.
