DVD only.Directed by Candida Royalle, this video includes two stories with some plot and some fun sex. The first story is about the extraordinarily close bond a woman has with her cats, and how her lover finds his place in her life. The second, well, not to spoil it, but that the sex builds slowly, both partners are clearly aroused, and the climax is delightful. The sex is luscious and sensual, with lots of foreplay and pleasure every step of the way.
This is one of our softer offerings, so is good for those people seeking something sensual and romantic without the edge commonly found in more mainstream fare. Highly Recommended.

"Instead of cutting a single story into two separate videos, Candida Royalle gives two different stories for the price of one. Both are slice-of-life vignettes with unpredictable plots. Royalle expertly sets the scene in context, giving the viewer time and information to get invested in the characters and stories.
"In Nine Lives Hath My Love, it's a lazy morning. Even though Jeanna Fine isn't in the mood, she obliges her lover, Randy Paul. While thy're making love she gives loving attention to her cats, stroking them and letting Randy know she's really not interested. Her passive-aggressive behavior is not lost on him, and he bursts out in a jealous tantrum, prompting her to do something very special and magical for him.
"In Pickup, Alexis Firestone tidies up her home at the end of the day. After putting away the children's tub toys, she takes a luxurious and erotically charged bath, puts on slutty makeup and a revealing dress, paints her nails, and steps into high heels, transforming herself from a mom to a street walker. Across town Rugby Rhodes showers, grooms himself, and puts on fresh clothes. When we next see them downtown Alexis is walking the streets and Rhodes is cruising her from his car. They make their deal and after a quick stop at a liquor store they're back in her apartment relishing each other.

This movie contains 2 vignettes that focus on the romantic and erotic connection between partners. The stories start out slowly, as is characteristic of Royalle's films, and build erotic tension little by little. The characters are (good-looking) everyday people who do ordinary things like wash the dishes, put on make-up before a date, feed their cats, and have disagreements with their partners. The sex is likewise a part of everyday life; Royalle's sex scenes are not separate from these other interactions, but rather intertwined with them. The stories might be too slow for some, but Royalle's approach to sex and eroticism is refreshing, comfortable, and much easier to relate to than more mainstream movies. She imbues this film with the sex-positive attitude that eroticism is a normal and very good part of life.
