Most of the stories have a lot of plot, so this is a good choice if you like a context for the sex scenes (but not right for you if you like skipping to the "good parts"). Some of the stories, though, have little expository plot and focus more on pure, heightened eroticism. There's a lot of dominance and submission, some S/M, some fetish play and Daddy scenes. There's a fascinating variety of gender expressions among the characters: there are femmes, butches, bois, trans folks, and more. Most stories feature butch/femme pairings, but there are a couple of stories featuring femme/femme pairings. The characters include lesbian vampires and ghosts, strippers, sex workers, high school students, a young Amish woman, a chronically ill femme top, a woman dressed in an ant costume...there's sex in cars, in the desert, on top of public sculpture, in sex clubs, by the pool, in hotels...If you are looking for a collection that will give you interesting things to think about, in addition to turning you on, and if you want edgy stories featuring a wide cast of characters, this would be a good choice for you. 240 pages.
