Information on Shopping and Ordering

A Woman's Touch Sexuality Resource
Center offers both sexuality information and shopping to adults interested
in exploring aspects of their relationships and/or sexuality. If it's
information you seek, check out Ask Aphrodite for questions and answers
about relationships and healthy sexuality, or Ask Dr. Myrtle for questions
about sexual health and the anatomy and physiology of sexual function.
Here is some information on shopping and ordering from

| How
can I place an order with you? |
|
To order from us, you have several
options.
1. You can order through our website order
page. We extract your order from the secure server directly,
so your personal information does not bounce endlessly or dangerously
around the web. Your order information is available only to the
staff of AWT for viewing.
2. You can fax the order page to us at 608-250-2523, 24 hours
a day.. Faxing your order insures that your information never enters cyberspace,
and is sent more securely than a phone conversation (since it's in fax lingo,
so to speak...).
3. You can mail us the order page with either your credit
card information, or money order. Sorry, we cannot accept your personal check.
When you place your order, check the payment option "money order sent to us." Then print out the order form and send it, plus a money order for the total to:

4. You can call us toll-free
(888-621-8880) between the hours of 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday
through Saturday, Noon and 5 p.m. on Sundays, and directly give
your order and payment information. Please note that this is
US Central time.

| Are
orders and credit card numbers placed on the web safe? |
|
We assure you that your personal and financial information
is encrypted immediatly upon order placement, and is only accessible
to our order processing employees. The copy of your credit card transaction
is kept locked in a safe (to verify that the transaction was approved
by you). You are actually much more likely to encounter credit fraud
when you hand your card over at a restaurant. We promise that we are
honest (our customers seem to think so too.)

| How
do I assure myself that you will not share my name, address, charge
account information, etc. with other businesses? |
|
We *hate* it when people/businesses do this to us,
so we have vowed never to sell your name to anyone. It's nobody's 'business'
to track
where you choose to shop, and we aren't going to help that process along
if it's within our power. Take a look at our complete privacy policy.

| How
do you send your materials? How will my package look? |
|
Your package will be a plain brown (or white) box
with your name on the outside, with a return to "E.B. Inc, 600 Williamson
Street, Madison, WI 53703-4509", and appropriate shipping labels.
If we can use a UPS, FedEx, or USPS box, we will, and it will only have
your name on it and the above return address. That's it.

| I
live in a place where people don't believe in talking about sex. Will
you be sending me literature or packages that suggest what the contents
are? |
|
We will not send explicit literature, or boxes with
explicit information on the outside anywhere, any time. We believe that
adults have the right to request and receive this information and products,
but we will not send anything that may inadvertently offend someone who
has not consented to see such material. You are, however, responsible
for checking your state, or country's laws regarding receipt of this
material.

| How
do you calculate shipping costs? |
|
Our shopping cart will do an estimation of your shipping
charges, and we will do an exact calculation of shipping charges at the
time we process your order. Usually the shipping charge is the same or
a little less than the amount shown in your order summary. If the amount
will be more than $5 over your total, we will email or call you to make
sure that you approve the actual order total.
UPS Ground Service is our basic shipping option. UPS requires a street
address for delivery, so if your billing address is a post office box,
but you want UPS delivery (we recommend it over Priority Mail because
you can track your package’s progress) please provide a street
address for delivery. We will send items Priority Mail if you request
it, but the charge for shipping will be higher, due to a raise in their
shipping rates.

| How
long does it take for you to ship packages? |
|
It depends on whether an item is in stock. While we attempt to keep
everything in stock, occasionally we do run out of something. If all
the items you order are in stock, your order is generally shipped within
24 hours of its receipt, or the next business day. If you request UPS Next Day shipping, your order must be received by noon US central time for us to ship your package the same day of order receipt. Orders received after noon US central time will be shipped out on the next business (M-F) day.
If any of the items
you order are out of stock, you will be informed by email (if you give
us your email address), and will receive your backordered item at our
shipping expense (continental US only). International orders will be
held until all items are in stock. When we ship your order, you will
always receive email confirmation to let you know the day your order
was shipped, providing you check the box telling us it's ok to email
you.

| Can
I get it more quickly ? (aka expedited shipping) |
|
Many of our customers have valued the guaranteed residential delivery
of UPS 3 day Select, which will get your package to you in 3 business
(M-F) days. (This service is not available to P.O. Boxes.) Although you
might pay $5 extra, our experience has been that your package will arrive
safely and in good shape, and some think the extra couple of bucks worth
the effort and security.
For in-stock items, you can select to have it shipped to
you faster. Our shopping cart will estimate special shipping costs for expedited
shipping, but the
actual amount may vary, and will be added to your order at the time of shipping.
Here
is a fairly close guide to the extra costs:
For UPS 2 day shipping, your package
will be delivered within 2 business days (M-F) guaranteed, and
$5.50-7.00 will be added to order total.
For USPS Express Mail, your package will arrive within 1-2 days
(which includes Saturday and Sunday delivery) if you are in the United States, and $15-20 will
be added to your total.
For UPS Next Day (am), (weekends excluded), $15-20 will be added
to the order total.
UPS Next Day Saver, (weekends excluded), will arrive after 3
PM, and will save you $2-3 on the next day service fee.
UPS Next Day Saturday Delivery is only available for UPS Next
Day requests, and adds $10 on top of the Next Day delivery charges.
USPS Airmail/Overseas shipping (for all addresses outside of the US) will be calculated based upon
the total weight of the package and the destination, and delivery
time is variable depending upon your country's package handling
speed. We regret that we cannot offer International Express Mail
at this time.

| Will
you ship things to me even if I don't live in the U.S.? |
|
If you live very far from us (Alaska, Hawaii, South America, Canada,
Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, Pacific, Africa, or "write in your
home country here..."), we will send your package USPS Airmail.
On your customs declaration form, we send "silicone statues, massagers,
educational tapes, jewelry, etc." as much as we can. You may have
trouble getting your package (particularly videos) past your customs
inspectors, and we cannot take responsibility for either the fees or
release of your merchandise. If you include an email address, we will
try to let you know when its ship date is.
Sadly, we regret that we cannot be held responsible for any confiscations
by your country's customs officials. Any and all duties, taxes
and tariffs levied are the responsibility of you, the customer. We will not bill
you for these charges, nor will we pursue your local customs officials
to try to get your packages released.

| AWT Policy On Returns & Exchanges |
|
If you are unsure about your purchase with us, do not place
an order.
Instead, we'd love to help you choose the right pleasure, so give us a
call, or email us with your questions or concerns. We are happy to help
you consider and choose.
We evaluate all of your purchased items to check for good appearance
and working condition before they leave the store. We understand, however,
that seeing something face to face isn't the same as on the web, so if
you are considering a return, keep these principles in mind:
Always keep your invoice/receipt for any items
you purchase. You will need to return a copy of your invoice with
your returned package for us to issue an exchange or credit.
We will do our best to accept your returned item. Items which were
poorly packed or damaged during return shipping will not usually
receive credit, so do your best to preserve the condition of your
purchase.
Books are accepted for exchange or store credit if they are in resellable
condition only. If you find that your book is defective in physical quality,
you may return the book within 14 days of receipt for exchange.
Videos are not returnable unless defective.
(If your video happened to be shrink wrapped in plastic wrap,
you can return/exchange the video if the wrap is unopened.
Not many of our videos come with wrap, so beware.)
Lubricants, latex, lotions or
other liquids are not returnable.
For any toy we sell: If you didn't
use it, you may return it for exchange, store credit, or refund
within 14 days of receipt. We will issue a credit or refund for the cost of
the item or items that are returned. Return shipping costs are not refunded
unless you are returning the item(s) because of a mistake that was made by
us. Carefully repack your purchase, and send the item back to us with:
- a copy of your receipt/invoice,
- the original packaging,
- and instructions on whether you want an exchange, store credit,
or refund.

If you use your toy, but find that it is defective within
14 days after receipt (or 30 days for the Japanese multiple-stimulation
toys and the silicone
German-made toys), you may return the toy for exchange. We will pay the cost
of regular ground shipping to get a replacement to you. Remember to include
your receipt/invoice, and carefully package your returned item. We test and
inspect all returns for function.
